New Garden International - Executive Assistant

  • Location: 645 South Main Street, Stowe, Vermont 05672
  • Full Time; 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday

Company Overview:

New Garden International is a private investment company with Asian roots and an extremely entrepreneurial leadership team. Dr. Michael Furst and his wife Cheng "Elizabeth" Tienyang founded the company in 2014 following a successful education venture in China. New Garden International invests in their own projects exclusively, primarily in the areas of education, food processing, and biomaterials. 

Executive Assistant - Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager with marketing research and help develop connections with suppliers, partners, government resources, other stakeholders
  • Assist the General Manager with marketing research and business development 
  • Arrange and manage the schedule for the General Manager
  • General reporting and administration, including working as a liaison with outside accountants and lawyers
  • Other work with lesser or greater levels of responsibility as assigned

Key Requirements:

  • Independent work ability (ability to work alone)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Able to write business correspondence well
  • Able to both take initiative and also understand where the limits may be
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills 
  • Experience in manufacturing environment would be an advantage, as is experience in a multicultural environment
  • Willing to travel for business


  • 5 to 10 years of general business admin experience
  • College degree preferred but not required
